Jennifer Sano-Franchini is Associate Professor of English and Director of Professional and Technical Writing at Virginia Tech. Her research and teaching interests are in the cultural politics of design, institutional rhetoric, and Asian American rhetoric. Her scholarship has appeared in College Composition and Communication, Rhetoric Review, Technical Communication, and Computers and Composition. She co-edited Building a Community, Having a Home, which documents a history of the Conference on College Composition and Communication Asian/Asian American Caucus (Parlor Press, 2017).
